Privacy Policy

RealMaya Private Limited (“RealMaya”, “we”, “us”) operates the RealMaya platform and apps. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and your rights. We are committed to handling your data — especially your photographs and body measurements — with care, and in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable law.

1. What we collect

• Account data — your name and email address (via Google Sign-In), and your role (buyer/seller).
• Profile & fit data — a full-body photograph you provide, body measurements (e.g. height, chest, waist, hip) derived from it or entered by you, and your size preferences. These are sensitive and central to the service.
• Try-on & wardrobe data — images generated when you visualise garments, and the products you view, try on, or save.
• Agent & activity data — your conversations with the AI agent, deal records, and basic usage/device/log information.
• Seller data — if you sell, your shop details, product listings, images and size specifications.

2. How we use it

• To read your measurements and produce an honest fit assessment against product size specs.
• To generate try-on visualisations and recommendations matched to your fit.
• To enable live buyer–seller sessions and to record agreed deals.
• To operate, secure, support, and improve the platform.

We rely on your consent for processing your photograph and measurements; you can withdraw it at any time (see “Your rights”).

3. Service providers who process data for us

To run the service, your data may be processed by trusted providers acting on our instructions. Notably, your images may be sent to AI/image services to produce fit and try-on results:

• Supabase — authentication, database and storage.
• Google Cloud Platform & Vertex AI (Gemini) — hosting and the AI agent.
• Replicate — AI image generation for try-on visualisations.
• LiveKit — real-time video for live shopping sessions.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with sellers only to the extent needed when you choose to engage with them (e.g. to record a deal).

4. Analytics & cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the platform is used (which pages are visited, broad usage patterns) so we can improve it. Analytics is off by default: when you first visit we ask for your consent, and Google Analytics sets no analytics cookies and collects nothing until you accept. You can decline and the service works fully; you can change your choice later by clearing this site’s data in your browser. We use analytics for our own product insight only — we do not run advertising and do not sell your data. Google processes this data as described in Google’s own privacy policy.

5. Retention

Try-on results are cached for up to 90 days. Profile and account data are kept while your account is active and deleted (or anonymised) on request or within a reasonable period after account closure, unless we must retain certain records by law.

6. Your rights (DPDP Act)

• Access and correct your data, and update your measurements at any time in the app.
• Withdraw consent and request erasure of your photograph, measurements and account.
• Raise a grievance with us at veera@realmaya.com (also at the foot of this page).

7. Security, children, and transfers

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. The service is intended for users aged 18 and above. Some processors may store or process data outside India; we take steps for such transfers to be lawful.

8. Important note on fit and try-on

Fit verdicts are estimates based on the measurements available, not a guarantee of real-world fit. Try-on images are AI visualisations and may not exactly represent the product. Please use the in-app guidance and seller chat to confirm details before purchasing.

9. Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the “last updated” date. Material changes will be notified in the app.
