RealMaya helps you know how clothes will actually fit you — honestly — before you buy. Because we work with your photo and measurements, here are the questions that matter most, answered plainly.

Is my photo safe and private?

Yes — your photo is used only to read your measurements and to generate your try-on visualisations. It’s processed by our trusted providers for that purpose, it is never sold, and you can delete it any time. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail and your rights under India’s DPDP Act.

What do you do with my measurements?

We compare them against a product’s real size spec to give you an honest fit verdict — “likely snug in the shoulders, size up.” You can view and adjust your measurements any time, and they stay yours.

How accurate is the fit verdict?

It’s an honest estimate, not a guarantee. We compute it from the measurements available and we tell you where there’s doubt (we flag gaps rather than hide them). For anything borderline, use the seller chat to confirm before buying.

Is the try-on image real?

It’s an AI-generated visualisation to help you picture the look — not an exact photograph of the product. It pairs with the honest fit verdict; it never replaces it. Tip: results look most natural when your base photo’s clothing is similar in type to the item.

What’s allowed in the photos I upload?

Only a photo of yourself (fully clothed) as your profile photo, and product images of garments/accessories you have the right to use. No nudity, sexual or abusive content, images of other people, or images of minors. Uploaded and generated images are screened by automated safety systems and may be blocked or removed.

Do I need to be 18?

Yes. RealMaya is for users aged 18 and above.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can remove your photo and measurements in the app, or email veera@realmaya.com to delete your account and data.

How does sharing a look work?

You can share a look as a public card (anyone with the link can react) or a private card (only people with the link and a system passcode can react, anonymously). Private cards expire in 60 days and you can revoke the passcode any time.

Who does the AI agent work for?

Only you, the buyer — never the platform, never the seller. It finds your best fit, arranges the try-on, and helps you get a fair deal. This is a core design choice, not a feature.

Do you handle payments?

Not yet. Today, payment and delivery happen directly between you and the seller, off-platform. Returns and refunds follow that seller’s policy — see our Refund Policy.

What does it cost?

Buyers pay 0% to RealMaya. Sellers pay a 5% platform fee. No hidden charges, no spread.
